MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS THE COMMUNICATION/IT BOARD LIASON
-
Bulk TV/Internet: Worked closely with Comcast Xfinity and the Governance Committee to negotiate a 6-Year contract which provided our community with a better service (double the internet speed and double the number of channels) with a 34% reduction in cost per year, per home for six years, as well as five free WiFi hotspots currently available at each one of the TB Satellite pools. The negotiation also led to about an additional 111,000 budget surplus in 2019 and thus a reduction of $140 HOA fees per home for 2020. Also, our community received a check from Comcast for an amount of $138,600 ($100 bonus per home), as a bonus for signing the new contract, in the summer of 2020!

-
Website Projects: Worked closely with TB Golf Club, ICON, and TB software vendors in converting the two outdated HOA and Golf websites in 2017 into one industry-standard website for our community (www.tpctrevisobay.com). The new website and the app have allowed our community to make online reservations for sports & activities, Golf and HOA events, etc., and thus generate revenue for our community. They also have increased communications between the board and community members by making TB governing documents, rules and regulations, board reports, year-end financial reports, etc., to be available to our members 24/7.

-
IT Infrastructure: Worked closely with Comcast Business, ICON, and TB hardware and software vendors, to design, implement, and test an industry-standard LAN hardware and software facilities LAN to provide the two business centers of our community (VR and CH) with a fast, reliable, and secure infrastructure to generate revenue and provide our members with a better service.

MY GOALS IF REELECTED
Equal Representation: Revise the TBMA Bylaws to change the number of board of directors from 7 to 9 consisting of a minimum of 3 for the golf membership and 3 for the social membership. This will also spread the board’s executive power more equally among the board members.

Better Service and Decreased Costs: Ensure all the Treviso Bay contracts (management and vendors, etc.) are put on bids to ensure better service while decreasing the operating costs.

Informed and Engaged Community: Ensure the BOD meeting announcements include the details of the motions to be voted on by the board. Ensure the BOD meetings include a Q&A session before any motion is approved. Increase member-to-member, and member-to-board communications using email, website, and social media. Hold quarterly townhall meetings using an open forum style, attended in-person, video, and audio.
