 New Students Orientations at CCBC
  • Brief Description/History:

Studies show that a student's success is directly related to the student's attendance at the New Student Orientation (NSO). Faculty participation in college events related to students, especially new students, has always been very much appreciated by our college.
Over the years, NSO at CCBC has had different format and has been scheduled at various times each year. Last two CCBC NSO events have become part of Faculty in Service Day which is at the start of each Fall semester.

A scanned copy of the "Thank You" letter sent by CCBC Enrollment Services and Student Activities in year 2001 is available here.

In Fall 2012 I participated in the NOS by meeting the new Web Programming students, providing a presentation about Web Programming curriculum at CCBC, and answering the students' questions about this major.
